Astrie Sunindar is a fashion designer
who designs collections inspired by
the once in a life time honeymoon trip.
Originally from Indonesia, but brought
up in Europe and the US, Astrie combines
western silhouettes with Asian influences
to create her signature delicate and
feminine look. A unique aspect of many
of her pieces are the handmade detailing
popularized by the renowned Indonesian
artisans. Seeing social responsibility as
a corporate imperative, Astrie has teamed
up with these local Indonesian craftsmen
to provide work and help sustain
local communities.
